The reaction was conducted in the same manner as said (2) except that 1,3-dimethyl-5-hydroxyadamantane was used instead of the 1,3-dimethyl-5,7-dihydroxyadamantane, and, as a result, a 1,3-dimethyl-5-acryloyloxyadamantane (yield: 96%, colorless liquid) was produced.
