Procedure
To a solution of 346.1 mg (0.77 mM) of N-methyl-N-[1-(3-phenylpropan-1-yl)piperidin-4-ylmethyl]-5-thia-1,8b-diazaacenaphthylene-4-carboxamide in ethanol (4 ml) was added 2.0 ml (8.0 mM) of 4N-HCl/methanol and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 minutes. The solvent was then distilled off under reduced pressure to provide the title compound.
Workup
- distillationThe solvent was then distilled off under reduced pressure
