Procedure

3.8 g (32 mmmol) of 1,1,1-trimethoxyethane and 1.5 g (7.17 nmuol) of dimethyl 2-aminoterephthalate are introduced into a reactor. The medium is stirred and refluxed for 5 h, and then concentrated to dryness at 50° C. under a vacuum of less than 1 mm Hg. 1.4 g of a thick brown oil are obtained.—TLC (99/1 CH2Cl2/MeOH): Rf=0.7 -0.8.
