Procedure
When a methanolic solution of 2-[(guanidinothiazol-4-yl)methylthio]propylamine is reacted with 3,4-dimethoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1-oxide [prepared in Example 4, Step A], and the resultant 3-{2-[(2-guanidinothiazol-4-yl)methylthio]propylamino}-4-methoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1-oxide is treated with excess ammonia by the procedure in Example 35, the title compound is thereby produced.
