Reaction Steps
Using the procedure of Step B of Example 6, 8.5 g of the product of Step E in 85 ml of tetrahydrofuran and 3.37 g of 4-dimethylamino-pyridine were reacted to obtain 6.5 g of 1,3-dihydro-3-ethyl-1-[(2-thiazolyl)-imino]-5-fluoro-furo [3,4-b]quinoline-9-ol melting towards 210° C.
