Reaction Steps
14 g of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-chloro-6-(4-benzylpiperazin-1-yl)quinoline and 28 mL of benzylamine are stirred at 125° C. for 4 hours. The reaction mixture is poured onto 100 mL of water. The precipitated material is filtered off, washed with 2×50 mL of water. After drying 8 g of the title compound is obtained, m.p.: 202° C.
