Reaction Steps

To a solution of Compound 21h (0.355 g, 1.19 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (30 mL) was added dropwise BBr3 (1.0M in CH2Cl2, 5.97 mL, 5.97 mmol) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred at rt for 24 h, and quenched with a saturated NaHCO3 solution (20 mL). The organic layer was dried over MgSO4 and concentrated. The crude product was used in the next reaction without further purification. MS m/z (MH+) 485.8.
