Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 2-(4-bromo-imidazol-1-yl)-4-(4-chloro-phenyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidine (example E.12) (0.14 g, 0.4 mmol) and commercially available 3-pyridylboronic acid (0.049 g, 0.4 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a light yellow solid (0.027 g, 19%). MS (ISN) 346.1 [(M−H)−]; mp 179-181° C.
