The title compound was prepared from 2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-6-(4-iodo-imidazol-1-yl)-4-trifluoromethyl-pyridine (example E.19) (1.35 g, 3.0 mmol) and commercially available 2-amino-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyridine (0.792 g, 3.6 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a light yellow solid. (0.750 g, 60%). MS (ISP) 416.3 [(M+H)+] and 418 [(M+2+H)+]; mp 196° C. (dec.).
