The title compound was prepared from 5′-bromo-6-methyl-4-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-[2,3′]bipyridinyl (example E.24) (0.15 g, 0.38 mmol) and commercially available 2-amino-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)pyrimidine (0.093 g, 0.42 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as a white solid (0.035 g, 22%). MS (ISP) 408.3 [(M+H)+]; mp 248-252° C.
