5-{4-[4-(3,4-Dichloro-phenyl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidin-2-yl]-pyridin-2-yl}-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid tert-butyl amide was prepared from 2-(2-chloro-pyridin-4-yl)-4-(3,4-dichloro-phenyl)-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidine (example E.38) (0.405 g, 1.0 mmol) and N-tert-butyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-thiophene-2-sulfonamide (example F.1) (0.45 g, 1.3 mmol) according to the general procedure VI. Obtained as light brown foam (0.41 g), which was subsequently deprotected.
