A mixture of N-(5-bromo-4-(trifluoromethyl)thiazol-2-yl)-2-(2-tert-butylphenoxy)pyridin-3-amine (Example 323a, 135 mg, 0.29 mmol), BOC2O (75 mg, 0.34 mmol), DMAP (5 mg) and DIPEA (59 μl, 0.34 mmol) in THF (5 mL) was stirred at rt for 5 h. The solvent was removed and the residue was purified by flash chromatography (silica, 0-50% EtOAc/hexane gradient) provided Example A125a (149 mg) as a white foam. (M+H)+═574.2.
