Similarly isomer (2) of 2-[4-(6-Methoxy-3-methyl-2-phenyl-naphthalen-1-yloxy)-benzylidene]-3-methyl-butyric acid ethyl ester (222-1) (0.191 g, 0.397 mmol) afforded 0.114 g (63%) of isomer (2) (223-2) of the title compound as solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, d-CDCl3): δ 1.15 (d, J=7.0 Hz, 6H), 2.22 (s, 3H), 2.70-2.77 (m, 1H), 3.91 (s, 3H), 6.47-6.51 (m, 3H), 7.00-7.04 (m, 3H), 7.09-7.13 (m, 3H), 7.18-7.25 (m, 4H), 7.54 (s, 1H), 7.73 (d, J=9.2 Hz, 1H).
