Reaction Steps
A solution of (3aS,6R,7R,7aR)-6-{(1R)-1-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethoxy}-7-(4-fluoro-2-methylphenyl)octahydropyrano[3,4-c]pyrrole (55.8 mg, 0.12 mmol) and NIS (53 mg, 0.23 mmol) in 2 mL trifluoroacetic acid was stirred at rt for 40 min. Volatiles were removed. The crude was purified by reverse phase HPLC to afford the title compound.
