A solution of 4-(3-benzyloxy-phenyl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid 4-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-benzylamide (25 mg; 0.05 mmol) in methanol (5 ml), was treated with 10% palladium on carbon (10 mg) then hydrogenated at room temperature and pressure overnight. The catalyst was removed by filtration through Celite and the filtrate evaporated. Purification by preparative LC/MS gave 8 mg of the required product as a cream solid. (LC/MS: Rt 1.67 [M+H]+ 392).
