Reaction Steps

To an ice cooled solution of 2.04 g (10 mmol) of Boc-homopiperazine, 1.32 g (10 mmol) of DIPEA in 80 ml of methylene chloride was added a solution of 2.18 g (10 mmol) of 2-chlorophenylsulfonyl chloride in 40 ml of methylene chloride. Then the reaction mixture was stirred at RT overnight. The organic phase washed with HCl aq, water, dried over sodium sulphate and evaporated to dryness to give 3.7 g of compound as yellow oil.
