Indium chloride (0.11 g, 0.536 mmol) was added to a solution of Example 93E (0.255 g, 0.536 mmol) in methanol (3 ml) and water (3 mL). The resulting solution was heated (85° C.) for hours before the methanol was evaporated. The residue was partitioned with ethyl acetate and water, and the organic phase was washed with brine, dried (magnesium sulfate), filtered, and concentrated. The crude product was used in the following step without further purification.
