Procedure

The sub-title compound is prepared from 2-(2,2-difluoro-ethoxy)-6-amino-5-nitro-nicotinic acid methyl ester (1.3 g, 4.8 mmol) and 1 M NaOH in analogy to example 1e. Yield: 0.88 g (70%).
