A solution of N-(2-amino-phenyl)-2-chloro-5-[4-(2-dimethylamino-ethyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-benzamide (0.35 g, 0.87 mmol) in acetic acid (15 mL) was heated for 7 h at 85° C., then solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue triturated with Et2O to obtain 0.25 g (75%) of the title compound as a solid without further purification.
