Procedure

To 3.0 g 3-phenyl-2-(4-{[4-(5-pyridin-2-yl-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)piperidin-1-yl]methyl}phenyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-7-carbonitrile (prepared as described under example 29) in 50 ml acetone is added a solution of 0.714 g fumaric acid in. The reaction mixture is stirred at ambient temperature for 3d. The desired compound is collected by filtration and dried.
