A flask charged with 6-amino-3-(3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-4-phenyl-1H-quinolin-2-one (0.027 mg, 0.085 mmol)(Example 52), acetic anhydride (0.01 mL, 0.100 mmol), NEt3 (0.018 mL, 0.13 mmol) and 1 mL of THF was stirred for 6 hrs at 25° C. The title compound was eluted from a 5 g SPE with 100% EtAc to give 0.015 g (50%) of a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) 12.30 (s, 1H), 8.06 (s, 1H), 7.72 (m, 1H), 7.36 (m, 5H), 7.14 (m, 2H), 6.36 (s, 1H), 2.22 (s, 3H), 2.02 (s, 3H). Mass spectrum (ESI, m/z) calcd. for C21H17N3O3 359.1, found 360.2 (M+H).
