Procedure
The product from Example 51E (0.26 g, 1.0 mmol) and 2-chloro-5-iodopyridine were processed according to the procedure described in Example 1A, except that a larger amount of sodium tert-butoxide (0.384 g, 4.0 mmol) was used. The crude product was purified by chromatography on SiO2 (dichloromethane:methanol, 95:5) to provide the title compound (0.25 g, 84%). MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 300/302 (M+H)+.
