Reaction Steps
Commercially available 5-hydroxyadamantan-2-one (0.1 mol), L(-)-Alpha-methyl-benzyl amine (0.105 mol), aluminium isopropoxide (0.1 mol) and Rhodium on active carbon (20 mol %) were suspended in 500 ml of toluene, 20 ml of the 4% thiophene solution were added. The reaction mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 24 h.
