To a mixture of 2-[6-(quinolin-7-yloxy)-pyrimidin-4-yl]-5-trifluoromethyl-phenol, (Example 191), (50 mg, 0.13 mmol) and K2CO3 (54 mg, 0.39 mmol) in DMF (2.0 mL) was added (bromomethyl)cyclohexane (20 μL, 0.14 mmol, Aldrich). The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 23 h. The resulting mixture was allowed to cool to room temperature and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuum and purified by silica gel chromatography (gradient: 0% to 3.0% MeOH/CH2Cl2) to provide the title compound as a white amorphous solid. MS (ESI, pos. ion) nt/z: 480 (M+1).
