The title compound was prepared in a manner analogous to Example 70 except the staring material is 5,7-diBOC-2,10-difluoro-6-(3-bromopropoxy)indolo[2,3-b]carbazole and the reagent is 3-hydroxypyrroline. The reaction can be completed at room temperature overnight. 1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ ppm 9.57 (br s, 2H), 8.27 (s, 1H), 7.71 (dd, J=9.2, 2.4 Hz, 2H), 7.33 (dd, J=8.8, 4.0 Hz, 2H), 7.03 (td, J=8.8, 2.4 Hz, 2H), 4.67-4.59 (m, 1H), 4.40-4.26 (m, 2H), 3.80 (t, J=5.6 Hz, 1H), 3.15-3.00 (m, 2H), 2.96-2.80 (m, 3H), 2.73-2.61 (m, 1H), 2.38-2.26 (m, 1H), 2.12-1.93 (m, 2H), 1.79-1.70 (m, 1H); MS (ESI) m/z 434.2 (M−H)−; MS (ESI) m/z 436.1 (M+H)+
