Compound 77a (300 mg, 0.61 mmol) was dissolved in 20% TFA/DCM (2 mL) and stirred at r.t. for 2 h. The solvents were removed in vacuo and the residue re-dissolved in DCM. This solution was washed with 2M NaOH then water and dried over MgSO4 and concentrated to give 1-(4-bromo-2,5-difluoro-phenyl)-piperidin-4-one O-piperidin-4-yl-oxime 77b.
