Following the procedure as described in Example 19, making variation as required to replace 4-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl bromide with 1-(bromomethyl)-4-(difluoromethoxy)benzene to react with ethyl 4-methyl-2-(5-oxo-1H-1,2,4-triazol-4(5H)-yl)thiazole-5-carboxylate, the title compound was obtained as a white solid in 79% yield: 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.27 (s, 1H), 7.44-7.36 (m, 2H), 7.14-7.06 (m, 2H), 6.47 (t, JH-F=73.8 Hz, 1H), 4.99 (s, 2H), 4.32 (q, J=7.0 Hz, 2H), 2.66 (s, 3H), 1.35 (t, J=7.0 Hz, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 411.2 (M+1).
