Following the procedure as described in Example 32, making variations as required to replace 2-(3-((5-chlorobenzo[b]thiophen-3-yl)methyl)-2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylic acid with 2-(3-(isoquinolin-1-ylmethyl)-2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylic acid to react with 3-(aminomethyl)-pyridine, the title compound was obtained as a colorless solid in 43% yield: mp 151-153° C. (dichloromethane/hexanes); 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.59 (s, 1H), 8.53 (d, J=3.0 Hz, 1H), 8.45 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 1H), 8.33 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 1H), 7.86 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 1H), 7.74-7.63 (m, 4H), 7.31-7.28 (m, 1H), 6.06 (br s, 1H), 5.12 (s, 2H), 4.59 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 4.08 (t, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 3.61 (t, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 2.61 (s, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 459.3 (M+1).
