To a suspension of the tert-butyl carbamate (62) (780 mg, 1.18 mmol) in DCM (10 mL) was added TFA (8.0 mL) and the resulting dark green solution stirred at RT for 2 hr. The mixture was evaporated in vacuo and the residue was taken up in MeOH (10 mL) and subjected to SCX capture and release to afford the title compound (Intermediate L) (690 mg, 100%): m/z 563 (M+H)+ (ES+).
