4-(1-Benzyl-2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrido[2,3-b]pyrazin-7-yl)benzoic acid (43 mg) was coupled with ethylamine as in General Procedure 8 to give the title compound as a tan solid (15% yield). M.p.=195° C., LCMS: m/z=387.31 (M+H+), 1H-NMR (CDCl3, 400 MHz) δ 1.24 (3H, t, J=7.3 Hz), 3.44 (2H, quartet, J=7.3 Hz), 4.51 (2H, s), 5.26 (2H, s), 7.33 (8H, m), 7.76 (1H, d, J=8.6 Hz), 7.81 (2H, d, J=8.1 Hz), 8.05 (1H, d, J=8.3 Hz).
