A solution of N-(6-(2-chloropyrimidin-4-yl)benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)acetamide (0.1 g, 0.3 mmol), cumylamine (0.05 mL, 0.4 mmol), cesium carbonate (0.05 g, 0.7 mmol) in N,N-DMF was heated under microwave (CEM) at 180° C. for 20 min. The mixture was diluted with DCM and washed with water, dried over sodium sulfate, and concentrated. The residue was purified by HPLC (5-100% CH3CN in water with 0.05% TFA) to give N-(6-(2-(2-phenylpropan-2-ylamino)pyrimidin-4-yl)benzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)acetamide as an off-white solid. MS (ESI pos. ion) m/z: 404 (MH+). Calculated exact mass for C22H21N5OS: 403.
