Reaction Steps
1.02 g of imidazole and 1.58 g of t-butyldimethylchlorosilane were added to a dimethylformamide (5 ml) solution of 1.01 g of (S)-4-hydroxy-2-pyrrolidone, and stirred overnight at room temperature. Water was added to the reaction liquid, and stirred with cooling with ice.
