By following the procedures and conditions described in Example 29, 20 mg (0.031 mmol) of [6R-[6 alpha,7 beta(Z)]]-3-[[[3,4-bis(acetyloxy)benzoyl]amino]methyl]-7-[[2-amino-4-thiazolyl)-(methoxyimino)acetyl]amino]-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid monosodium salt (Example 30) in 1 mL of saturated aqueous NaHCO3 and 500 μL of methanol gave 10 mg (60%) of a white solid after chromatography (reverse phase, 0-20% CH3CN) and lyophilization.
