Procedure
A solution of 21.2 g. of Nα -benzyloxycarbonyl-L-arginyl-L-prolyl-glycinamide hydrochloride (Example 1, part m) in 200 ml. of methanol with 1.0 g. of 20% palladium-on-carbon is stirred under hydrogen gas for four hours and allowed to stand overnight. The solution is filtered and the filtrate evaporated at 40° C. under reduced pressure to a white foam which is suitable for use without further purification.
