Reaction Steps

A mixture of tert-butyl {[4-(6-chloronaphthalene-2-sulfonyl)-2-oxo-1-piperazinyl][1-(2-methyl-4-pyridinyl)-4-piperidinyl]amino}acetate (135 g) obtained in Example 144 and toluene (1 ml) was combined with trifluoroacetic acid (1 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified on a CHP-20 column (water→1% conc. aqueous ammonia-containing 25% aqueous solution of acetonitrile) to obtain the title compound (0.75 mg) as a colorless powder.
