Lawesson's reagent (0.23 g, 0.57 mmol) was added to a solution of (1R*,2R*,5S*,6R*)-8-benzyl-2-{[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methoxyl}-1-phenyl-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-6-carboxamide (Example 75; 0.64 g, 1.14 mmol) in toluene (20 ml). The mixture was stirred at 100° C. for 1 hour then concentrated in vacuo. The residue was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with 2 and 3% methanol/dichloromethane to yield the title compound (0.162 g, 25%).
