Following the procedure for Example 230, reaction of 5-chloro-1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazole and (R)-tert-butyl 3-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate gave (R)-tert-butyl 3-(1-methyl-4-nitro-1H-pyrazol-5-yloxy)piperidine-1-carboxylate as a pale yellow oil (0.34 g, 93%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.01 (s, 1H), 5.15-4.85 (m, 1H), 3.84-3.72 (m, 2H), 3.69 (s, 3H), 3.41 (d, J=14.2 Hz, 1H), 3.30-3.13 (m, 1H), 2.11-2.02 (m, 1H), 1.94-1.82 (m, 2H), 1.63-1.52 (m, 1H), 1.42 (s, 9H)
