Ethyl 3-[({4-[(cyclohexyl{3-methyl-5-[3-(methylsulfanyl)propoxy]-1-benzofuran-2-yl}methyl)amino]phenyl}carbonyl)(methyl)amino]propanoate (0.61 g) synthesized in Example A150(3) was dissolved in methanol (15 mL) and water (2 mL), oxone (2.1 g) was added to the solution at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred for 30 min. Water was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with diethyl ether. The extract was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate:hexane=1:1, volume ratio) to give the title object compound (0.48 g, 75%) as a yellow oil.
