Ethyl 3-[({4-[(cyclohexyl{3-methyl-5-[3-(methylsulfanyl)propoxy]-1-benzofuran-2-yl}methyl)amino]phenyl}carbonyl)amino]propanoate (0.16 g) synthesized in Example A151(1) was dissolved in acetone (5 mL), metachloroperbenzoic acid (0.2 g) was added to the solution under ice-cooling, and the mixture was stirred for 15 min. To the reaction mixture was added sodium sulfite aqueous solution, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate:hexane=1:1, volume ratio) to give the title object compound (0.11 g, 68%) as a yellow oil.
