A solution of N-(2-aminophenyl)-5-(phenoxyacetyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro[1,3]thiazolo[5,4-c]-pyridine-2-carboxamide obtained in example 172 in methanol cooled to 0° C. A solution of sulphuric acid in methanol (1:1) was added slowly and stirred at room temperature for 3 hrs. White precipitated solid was filtered out and dried to afford title compound.
