Procedure
The 1-chloroacetone (57 mg, 0.61 mmol) and tert-butyl 1′-(aminocarbonothioyl)-4,4′-bipiperidine-1-carboxylate (prepared as for Example 175, step 1) (200 mg, 0.61 mmol) were dissolved in ethanol (1.2 ml) and heated at 75° C. overnight. The solution was cooled to RT, and the solvent removed in vac. The residue was used in the subsequent procedure without further purification.
