Reaction Steps
To 15 ml of dehydrated tetrahydrofuran solution containing 1.90 ml of 3-pentanol was added 0.38 g of sodium hydride (55% dispersed material in mineral oil) under cooling in ice-bath, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. Then, 0.99 g (1.75 mmol) of 2-bromo-3-bromomethyl-1,5-bis(2-trimethylsilylethoxymethyl)-1,5-dihydropyrrolo[2,3-d]pyridazin-4-one obtained in Reference example 25-(a) was added to the mixture, and the mixture was stirred at 45° C. for 2 hours. After completion of the reaction, water was added to the reaction mixture, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and then, concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was applied to silica gel column chromatography (Eluent; hexane:ethyl acetate=7:3 (V/V)), and the fractions containing the desired compound were concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 0.66 g of the title compound as a slightly yellowish oil.
