Procedure
To a solution of 3-[4-(2-aminoethyl)-1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-yl]-4-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5(4H)-one trifluoroacetate (16.0 mg, 0.037 mmol) in DCM (1.0 mL) was added TEA (15 μL, 0.11 mmol) and methanesulfonyl chloride (4.2 μL, 0.055 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 1 h and then the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was dissolve in MeOH (1 mL) and 2.0 M sodium hydroxide in water (0.10 mL) was added. After stirring for 4 h, the reaction solution was diluted with MeOH and a few drop of acetic acid and then purified by preparative LCMS to give the desired product as a white solid (14.1 mg, 78.3%). MF═C12H13ClFN5O4S; LCMS calculated C12H14ClFN5O4S(M+H)+: m/z=377.0.
