The title compound was synthesized according to protocol A from 5-amino-4-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)thiophene-3-carbonitrile (69 mg, 0.364 mmol) and 2-(2-oxo-3,4-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridin-1(2H)-yl)acetic acid hydrochloride (89 mg, 0.367 mmol). HPLC purification afforded desired product as a white solid. LCMS method [11], retention time=6.22 min; MS (ESI) 380.1 (MH+); 1H NMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) δ 8.52 (s, 1H), 8.28 (d, J=5.2 Hz, 1H), 7.88 (s, 1H), 7.82 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.55 (dd, J=8.4, 5.3 Hz, 1H), 5.01 (s, 2H), 3.37 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.99 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H).
