The title compound was prepared from 2-(2-oxo-6-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-1(2H)-yl)acetic acid (0.047 g, 0.17 mmol) and 5-amino-4-(thiazol-4-yl)thiophene-3-carbonitrile (0.024 g, 0.12 mmol) according to protocol A. The desired product was submitted to prep HPLC for further purification. Retention time (min)=7.57, method [7], MS (ESI) 461.1 (M+H). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 12.73 (s, 1H), 8.60 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 8.14 (d, J=2.4 Hz, 1H), 7.92-7.89 (m, 2H), 7.89 (d, J=9.3 Hz, 1H), 7.59 (s, 1H), 7.48 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 1H), 6.96 (d, J=9.3 Hz, 1H), 5.30 (s, 2H).
