The title compound was prepared from 3-(3-aminothiophen-2-yl)oxazolidin-2-one and 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)acetic acid (510 mg, 3.06 mmol) using protocol B. The crude product was purified by HPLC. Method [7] Retention time 2.95 min by HPLC (MH+ 333). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.14 (broad s, 1H), 7.39 (d, J=5.7 Hz, 1H), 7.27 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 2H), 7.06 (d, J=5.7 Hz, 1H), 6.92 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 2H), 4.47 (m, 2H), 3.89 (m, 2H), 3.83 (s, 3H), 3.64 (s, 2H).
