A 4 mL vial was charged with crude (S)-1-(3-iodo-2-methylpropyl)-1H-quinolin-2-one (0.190 g), 4-propyloxypiperidine (0.137 g, 0.96 mmol) and dry CH3CN (2.5 mL). The mixture was shaken at 50° C. for 24 h and then purified by cation-exchange CC followed by flash CC (SiO2; EtOAc/MeOH 1:4) to give the title compound (0.051 g, 17%).
