5-(2,6-Dioxo-1,3-dipropyl-2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-purin-8-yl)-bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane-1-carbaldehyde (40 mg) taken in 5 ml of CH2Cl2. N1,N1-Dimethyl-ethane-1,2-diamine (40 mg), Na(OAc)3BH (100 mg), 2 drops of Acetic acid were added and stirred at rt overnight. Next day the reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with sat. NAHCO3, brine and dried over MgSO4. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The crude product was purified by Preparative HPLC. Mass (ES+ 459)
