2-(3-Nitro-phenyl)-N-[4-(1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl)-thiazol-2-yl]-acetamide (1 g, 2.6 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (100 ml) and added 10% Pd/C (100 mg) followed by ammonium formate (3eq, 500 mg). The reaction mixture was refluxed overnight. Then the reaction mixture was filtered and concentrated to give a white solid. The solid was taken up in EtOAc, filtered again, concentrated to give white solid. (500 mg, 55% yield).
