Procedure

From 0.3 mmol of 2′-aminomethylbiphenyl-2-carboxylic acid 2-(2-pyridyl)-ethylamide (precursor 5d) and α-methyl-4-trifluoromethyl)benzyl N-succinimidocarbonate (precursor 4c), according to the general working procedure 170 mg of 2′-(α-methyl-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzyloxycarbonyl-aminomethyl)biphenyl-2-carboxylic acid 2-(2-pyridyl)ethylamide were obtained as a racemate. MS (ES+): m/e=548 (M+1).
